i woke up a bit too early today i guess.

yea im trying to think of something intelligent-sounding to say here.
okay, i think its cool how so many people have sides to them which we never see, only through (eek!) spying on them by accidentally chancing upon their blogs do we see different sides to these people. i think, this never ceases to amazes me. it also occurred to me that nowadays, everyone's lives seem to suck more than usual. that sucks too.

and common tests just ended by the way, it was alright and i guess i studied fairly hard.i think its not fair and that everyone snapped back into their studying zones so quickly already and as much as id like to deny it there's like pressure descending in the form of that research paper that you used to be so enthu about but now is a forsaken essay buried somewhere deeep at the back of your mind.

i just wanna play lots of soccer and floorball, hockey if my wrist allows for it.more soccer though.

i caught up with Jing Cheng recently, who is leaving for austrialia soon to further his army career as a pilot. kudos to him and all the best to you man! it felt really realy good. really good to catch up and even better to let it all out. it also gave me a reality check about the things in life that actually matter and i realised id been straying for too long, almost as if impossible to go back. i think i have neglected the friends that truly matter, and marginalized some in the name of worldly/superficial advancement. i really regret not having gone back enough for scouts, i mean, theres really no place i belong more.

In view of recent sub-standard posts and unnecessary rants, the old gaurd of the ministry has rallied the support of the conservative factions and the old timers to call an Extraordinary General Meeting to take action against the new stream of angst and personal viewpoints that have tarnished The Ministry Of Enlglightenemts reputation as a web page of blogging excellence.

The summary of the resolutions decided upon at the EOGM are as follows:

1)Decisive Actions Aginst Angst
1.1) Forceful Eviction of Angst and Rants
The overwhelming priority of the EOGM was to protest against the sudden influx of emotional posts, rants and personal dabblings. Also, the loss of quality and style which now differs greatly from the orignial days has been a huge cause of concern for the conservatives. An agreement was eventually reached to have the past few days posts of highly controversial, sappy and angsty content purged and exiled to an undisclosed location. This location has been kept undisclosed to protect the sanity of readers who have face an oversaturated market of emo blogs out there and could really not use another. This address however, maybe be released in the future if the Great Leader should feel the need to do so.

1.1)Disregard for The Ministry
Allegations have been made against the Great Leader for allowing the continual manifestation and expansion of rants and angst which have tainted the original intentions of the establishement of the Ministry. This can be traced back to Thursday March 20, 2008 where the first symptons of mainstream ranting were evident. The Great Leader himself may be tried in court for such acts of treasony and failure to put an end to these personal posts from the start, thus allowing for the accumulation of angst which leads to the present problem.

2)The Future of The Ministry
2.1)Resolution for future discussion
The future of the ministry is currently pending, as to whether or not, the site will be shut down or continue to operate and produce posts.(switch to newscaster mood here) Many however doubt that the Ministry will return to its old days of good humour and ease as many speculate that the ministry has lost its relevance to daily happenings of the lives of the great leader whose interest in blogging has waned since late 2008.
2.2)Preservation ofthe Ministry
Despite the current bleak outlook and the already destroyed image of the Ministry, the conservatives have pushed to preserve the original intention of the Ministry and its humble begininngs. As such, citizens are politely requested to be inclined to remember the Ministry for its positive works and good intentions before October of 2008. The pre-Oct 2008 Era has also been oficially termed the Good Old Days in the history of the Ministry and more importantly, should be rememembered as the Pre-Angst Period of Prosperity and Peace.

i am now treading down a path i swore never too when i started this blog.yet at times like these i find it impossible not to do so.

theres this thing about the international economy, it has a cyclical nature.a boom follows a slump follows another boom and eventual slump boom slump boom slump boom.
so i guess right now the world is going into a economic slump.
im not really thinking about hey was there really a boom before this?but rather.
life in itself is a cyclical nature.

it goes up and down and up and down.
and you love the ups but not the downs.
and everytime im in an up i m afraid of the eventual down that i know will come.i dread it and hate it but try to cherish the up when it ups.

The Muggerdogs

Yep. Thats them alright, or rather....only a few of us, having a post-promos outing, which is just one of the several activities that the muggerdogs offer. So what do the muggerdogs do? well, they mug(!obviously) and therefore contribute to the "muggervibes" in the atmosphere, which is very important in the makeup of a school.
Muggervibes are positive externalities, confering spillover external benefits on third parties as they encourage people to hit their books (not literally, but either way you intepret it, its a good thing.) Muggervibes are also good because though they are a part of the atmosphere, they do not contribute to global warming.

Besdies mugging, the Muggerdogs also offer a huge variety of activites, such as: co-class mate encouragement, co-classmate teaching, co-classmate learning, inter-class lunching, schools tours, and occasionaly, Classroom cricket or " getting pregnant by Spermy"( its really not what you think) .

Withtin the Muggerdogs, there are several ranks that one can rise to.
one starts with the muggerpuppy, then promotes to a muggerdog. From there, one can even advance to a Muggadog or better still, a MuggaDawg.
Special positions include the Muggerqueen which is a fixed position reserved for the self-proclaimed princess yips, who attempts to hog the spotlight in the middle of the photo.

To qualify for the club is easy, it will only cost you a lot of sleep, alot of life and a whole lot more other things you would rather be doing. Muggerdogging is often held during study breaks over various venues such as the canteen or prefably, an air conditioned classroom.

well, im actually talking about Catholic High Scout Group's 60th anniversary celebration.
to those who know me, its kinda the big scout thing that i ve been going back to cat high everyday for.

it's over now, but hell, was it good.
solid goodness.

when i stepped back into VJ on monday morning, it just wasnt the same anymore, it was different.
now i know where i truly belong, what made me, shaped me and taught me so much.
i ve never missed cat high so much before,
but then again, i cant say its cat high.
its the damn troop, and every single one of you ventures and scouts, its the freaking people, fomr sai meng and jing chengs undying commitment, to josh's inspirational, motivational and impeccable imba leadership, han xun just squeezing my laughing box dry, keefe, jun xiang and cody just pissing me off everday but forcing me to just lose it all with their crazy antics, and the places too...the den and the qm and the field just buzzing with activity as we rush to meet a seemingly impossible deadline.

and at last, at night,when it is all over and the field is quiet again,
we sit on top of the gate way, watched by the three tips of the circle that catch the moon among them.and just bond.and talk.about stuff, that really matters.

really, it has been my privilege, to be in this troop, and to have worked with all of you.

it was just insane.but looking back.i totally miss it.

i can, about my scout troop.im really proud of it.i used to wonder what people would think of me if i told them i was a scout, id always thought id be embarrassed by it or something.

but i can tell you, that i may live in the east, and i go to cat high, and u ask me why, and i d say, why for the scout troop of course, its worth every bit.

when you go through so much, with the people around you, and you ve seen the real them, them under pressure, you and them, going through hell together, and at the end of the day, theres always a purpose, theres always a reason.and then you go back, and you see, how you once may have done it, and say to yourself : boy i didnt really get through that did i?

and you wanna see the troop go on, you want to give a little something back of what you ve learnt.you ve seen what its done for you, and what it will do for others, and you are happy, that your juniors have made the right choice, and that they have so much potential, and such a long way to go.

reading this really good book "Untamed " by Xan Hood.
the words below the title say " Becoming the man you want to be" and , yea, that mostly sums it up.

I find myself really identifying with the author, and understand and discovering many things that never occurred to me before.theres so much that i couldnt possible explain this feeling i get everytime i read the book.heres something i picked out:

the best thing about the holidays so far would have been olc(its an odac camp)

the worst thing would be the maths common test on monday which i intend to study for...i think...

pretty much everything after olc was a washout.(get the pun?washout?it was raining practically the whole week!hahahahaha LAME)
anyway , if it s one thing that i did during the holidays that was anything satisfying ,it would be this ten minutes which i hope you will enjoy.it was pretty much done on impulse , i was ploughing through really really horrible history when a "hey , life is'nt all about studying , remember the good old days ! mmmm,i went for some odac camps recently,i m not one to talk about my personal life so much , but im trying a new direction for this blog , it won't be all dumb humour and lameass communists gimmicks .which is a good/bad thing . hais.

anyway,the camp was great .yea!close to life changing...but not quite there,yea,it was good,that it was.

and mmmm,just for the hell of it (and no offense meant)

and ohh!i almost forgot!thanks to all the odac instructors for your efforts and hard work,thx thx,and also to those who worked so hard to persuade me despite your common tests,i guess,in the end,it really was worth it!

it was great!talking to you again.i have homework to do ,lots of it,and camps to pack for,

i did some soul searching and some thinking...and...well....

life moves so fast,
really hard to grasp.

Following the extremely useful and usable CMI(Cannot Make It) and TMI(Too Much Information)
the Minsitry's Language Department is proud to present to you

"KTYT "

KTYT basically stands for Keep Telling Yourself That.
One will surely find this acronym extremely usable in our very humble society, where people often attempt to lump ego and wit together and have no problems with being shamless! No more to that!Thanks to the KTYT , perfect at blowing out your freind/fiend 's over-inflated ego

USAGE:

KTYT is often used together with the following sentence :

That's right________ , Keep Telling Yourself That
whereby the person you are directing the KTYT at gets his/her name filled into the above blank .

The KTYT can also be used with the additional sentence to be said after the sentence above when the situation allows:

"One day, it just might come true "
this sentence is of course optional and one need not include it when using the KTYT.

But don't worry , thats okay, i appealed to the Parliment, who approved (with full funding) the creation of my very own OG the

ALOYSIUS OG.

you see , orientation 02 is based on the theme of Victorian Knights, and the names of the OGs go like this:

ahhh,so now you see how it works?The first letters of the OGs when put together spell Victoria...like wow!It takes a real genuis not to see that when i put it in that way .So where then, does the newly approved OG "Aloysius" fit in?Why after Avalon of course!

so putting them together now , you have
Valour,Igor,Cyrus,Theodore,Osiris,Ralphiel,Ivanhoe ,Avalon , Aloysius

When put together,you still get VICTORIAA ,different spelling,same pronunciation,wow,i shudder at the sheer ingenuity of our parliament !

But really,one ought to know that your supreme leader has never completed the book before.He has however,attempted twice,and is considering a third attempt.He failed the first time due to extraordinary commitments to the Ordinary Levels Examinations and the second time due to an inability to put up with specific idealogy elaboration.He did make it to Winston actually meeting the Brotherhood and reading that daft book though...
