-the flu

I never knew,
I never knew my partner yue quan had the flu
That everyone I knew was waiting for the chance to
To turn and run when all I needed was tissue
but thats how its gotta be
so I turn and try to wallow in some self-pity
and now stuff is running off my nose and its so sticky
my vision fogs and everythings so blur

now everybody thinks that I have lost my head
im stuck in bed
influenza for too long a time
it makes you whine
it screws your mind

not being a sore loser or anything but...
I like to remember the good times .
and of course the better ones to come.
